Small duck, the male has a very distinctive white eye stripe in
summer plumage. Unusually for a European duck it is a summer visitor. Voice: Male: rattle. Female: high pitched quack Food: Dabbles and upends for invertebrae, plant material. Size: Wingspan: 63-69cm Length: 37-41cm |
